HELP & Have Your Say: Dorothy Laver Reserve West Facility Improvements

Alamein FC
22 Jan 2026

Hi All,

Just a quick note from me, as some of you may already be aware — last year our club was successful in receiving grant funding to improve our home ground at Dorothy Laver Reserve West.

These proposed upgrades aim to deliver much-needed spectator seating, undercover shade, and overall facility improvements to better support our players, families, volunteers, and broader community. This is a really important step in ensuring our home ground is safe, welcoming, and fit for purpose for everyone involved on matchdays and beyond.

The City of Boroondara’s community consultation period closes next Thursday, 29 January, and this is where we need your help.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could take just 10 minutes to complete the attached survey. Your feedback will play a vital role in helping Council understand how important these improvements are to our club, our players, and our wider community.

The more responses they receive, the stronger the case for delivering these upgrades.

As a club, we are constantly battling limited infrastructure and a lack of adequate spectator amenities, so this is a genuine opportunity for our voices to be heard and for meaningful change to occur.

Thank you in advance for your time and support — it really does make a difference.
