Sponsorship Fundraiser: Southwest Florida Fencing Academy, Inc: Odyssey of the Mind Team

Meet the Southwest Florida Fencing Academy Odyssey of the Mind team—Galen, Kahless, Harrison, Jake, and Susannah, led by their volunteer Odyssey of the Mind coaches: Carly and Bianca. These five fencers have pushed their creativity to the limit—building sets, crafting characters, and bringing an original story to life—all in pursuit of qualifying for Odyssey of the Mind World Finals.

Odyssey of the Mind is an international program that promotes creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving through open-ended challenges spanning STEM, the arts, and performance.

This team earned 1st place at Regionals, 3rd at State, and received the prestigious Ranatra Fusca Award for exceptional creativity.

Unlike many teams, this is a community-based group made up of homeschool, public, and private school students. Without school funding, they must raise the full cost of registration, travel, housing, and meals on their own.

This fundraiser is hosted by Southwest Florida Fencing Academy, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit FEIN: 20-2001867. All donations received under this fundraiser will go as a sponsorship directly to the team to help them reach their fundraising goal of $10,000 and attend World Finals. This fundraiser will promptly close once the team’s fundraising goal is met. Link to donate!
