Location
Located in Mellieha (MLH1456), a coastal town known for beaches and outdoor recreation.
Sports and Activities
Selmun offers a range of sports, including football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and athletics. Training sessions and matches are organised across weekday evenings and weekends, with separate youth and senior programmes. The club also runs seasonal camps, community tournaments, and social events designed to build local engagement and encourage lifelong participation in sport.
Teams and Community
Rather than being a large metropolitan institution, Selmun focuses on close-knit team environments where players and volunteers know each other well. The club operates around a dozen teams spanning junior and senior categories, supported by coaching volunteers, committee members, and local sponsors. This setup makes it easy for newcomers to integrate and for families to find appropriate playing levels.
Why We Use SportMember
Selmun relies on SportMember to simplify administration and improve communication for both members and volunteers. The platform helps the club manage memberships, coordinate fixtures, collect payments, and keep attendance records. It also centralises team communication and provides a professional website presence that helps attract new players and volunteers.
