Traditional match NOV
In one of the most intense and entertaining editions of the traditional November 2025 fixture, Team A finally ended their two-match losing streak with a spirited 4–2 win over rivals Team B. As always, the match delivered high drama, rapid-fire goals, and unforgettable moments that kept supporters on edge throughout.
Team B struck early, taking the lead in the 6th minute. A beautifully timed cross from Raju Shrestha found Pawan Sherchan, who rose above the defense to head the ball cleanly into the net. But the celebration was short-lived. Just two minutes later, John Thapa equalized for Team A after a chaotic “ping-pong” scramble inside the box.
The game refused to slow down. In the 12th minute, Team B reclaimed the lead when Raju Shrestha—already involved in the opening goal—launched a brilliant shot into the bottom-left corner. The keeper could only watch as the ball curled past him.
Team A responded quickly yet again. At around the 14-minute mark, Sangam Magar set up Bhujan Gurung, who fired confidently from the left to level the score at 2–2. Moments later, Sangam nearly produced another assist after dribbling past two defenders, but Gurung’s shot sailed “to the moon,” leaving Team A fans in disbelief. The action-packed first half ended with the teams deadlocked.
The second half began with renewed intensity, and it was Team A who broke through first. In the 18th minute, Bhujan Gurung found the net again, giving Team A their first lead of the game and shifting the momentum in their favor.
Team B pushed hard for an equalizer, creating multiple opportunities. The best of them fell to Lopshang Gharti Magar, who found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper but pushed his shot wide of the post. As the minutes ticked down, both sides traded chances but failed to convert.
In the 30th and final minute, Team B nearly pulled level once more. Raju Shrestha dribbled past Anoj Magar and went straight at goal, only for his shot to rattle off the post—an agonizing near-miss that summed up Team B’s second-half frustrations.
With the match nearing its conclusion, Bhujan Gurung, already the star of the night, produced one final moment of brilliance. Running from his own half, he powered past the tiring defense and finished calmly to secure his hat-trick and seal Team A’s memorable 4–2 victory.
The win marks a triumphant end to Team A’s two-match losing streak in this traditional rivalry and sets the stage for an exciting clash next year.
